Bowser Junior and his friends, Kooper, and Toad are in for a treat when they find a glowing object which beams them with superpowers. After that, a robot who calls himself "Trooper" appears and mistakes them for a group of ancient heroes known as the "Diamond Crusaders", which he killed thousands of years ago.
