Christopher Nolan's new film will focus on Robert Oppenheimer, the father of the Us atomic bomb, and his role in developing the first atomic bomb. Instead of working with warner, his longtime partner of nearly 20 years, Nolan will be acquired, financed and distributed by Universal Pictures, with production expected to begin in the first quarter of 2022. Earlier foreign media reported that the opportunity to work with Nolan would ultimately be among universal, MGM and SONY, not Warner. Warner and Nolan fell out over the release of creed, and Nolan was also upset when Warner introduced a policy of simultaneous streaming of 2021 movies to all theaters without consulting the filmmakers involved in advance.
